THE BROWSER
THAT
forgets.
Null is a full Chromium browser — tabs, AI panel, command palette, device spoofing — with the memory of a goldfish. Close it and the session is gone. That is the whole pitch.

Most browsers promise privacy, then keep receipts. Null keeps state in memory and drops it on quit.

Full browser.
Zero baggage.
Eight systems, one rule: nothing persists unless you explicitly keep it.
Session-only everything
History, bookmarks and cookies live in memory. Quit or hit Ctrl/⌘ + Shift + Del and they evaporate — nothing to sync, subpoena or steal.
0 bytes on diskCommand palette
Ctrl/⌘ + K jumps to tabs, actions, views and privacy. Ctrl/⌘ + Shift + A searches tabs alone. The mouse is optional.

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Qwen built in, plus any custom provider URL. Research left, answers right.

One keystroke jumps to Google, blank, or your URL — with optional confirmation. For when the room changes.

HTTPS-first routing
Plain-HTTP upgrades before it leaves the machine. Fallback only when secure genuinely fails — with the standard warning.
Explicit permissions
Camera, microphone, location, notifications, clipboard, MIDI, screen share: each gets an in-app allow / block prompt. Unknown kinds are denied.
Sensitive-site tripwires
Optional warnings for adult, gambling and alcohol content plus insecure-HTTP alerts, with a trusted-hosts allowlist you control.
Isolated by construction
Context isolation, a minimal preload IPC bridge, hardened Electron fuses, and a privileged null:// protocol for newtab, settings and error pages.

The palette is the fastest way through the browser — tabs, actions, views, privacy. The AI panel sits beside it: research on the left, answers on the right.

07 / FAQ
Asked,
answered.
What does “forgets everything” mean, concretely?
Bookmarks and history exist in memory for the session only — never written to disk. Cookies and storage die on quit or on demand. The only things persisted are settings: theme, layout, search engine.
Which platforms ship?
Electron Forge builds: Squirrel installer for Windows, ZIP for macOS, .deb and .rpm for Linux. Electron 44, React 19, Vite.
How is search private?
Eight engines — Brave, Mojeek, DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Qwant, Ecosia, Bing, Google — ranked most-private-first in the wizard, Settings, and the new-tab picker, each with a privacy note.
What AI providers work?
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Qwen ship built in. Any custom provider URL can be added; panel width and active provider persist.
